The Federation of Wood Industries of Spain-FEIM, was founded in Madrid the 4th of October in 1996, with the aim of represent all the business association whose companies employ wood as a main raw material in the manufactured process. FEIM is also member of the Federation of the European Building Joinery Associations-FEMIB

Linked to the industries of second processing of timber, FEIM host fourteen business association. Overall attends nearly 200 companies with a great representative in the wood sector, distributed throughout Spain.

Los socios de la Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes de Parquet, como integrantes de la Federación Española de Pavimentos de Madera incorporarán una pegatina con los logotipos de ANFP y de la FEPM en su papelería, embalajes, vehículos comerciales y escaparates, entre otros soportes, con el fin de potenciar la imagen corporativa de ambas organizaciones en el mercado.

La fabricación y reparación de palets EUR/EPAL mejoran sus cifras

La fabricación y reparación de palets de madera EUR/EPAL es uno de los pocos sectores que está capeando el temporal de la crisis a nivel europeo, de acuerdo a la Asociación Europea de Pallets (EPAL). El ejercicio 2010 supuso un aumento del 6,6% respecto al año anterior y se fabricaron un total de 67.000.000 unidades. Las cifras que se manejan sobre el ejercicio 2011 son de en torno a 70.000 millones de pallets de nueva fabricación.
